Kerry Osler

Kerry has a Bachelor of Education (Psychology Major) and Postgrad in Psychology and Career Development.  She has worked with young people through both teaching and careers. One ofher favourite parts is to hear their stories and to help them feel excited about career possibilities.

She has also spent 18 years working in the business world in large corporate through to small businesses, across a variety of industries and in a number of areas including sales, management, marketing and operations.  She has lead teams in advertising, owned and run small businesses and helped grow a retail start up, literally from painting the walls of the first store, to becoming a market leader. She has also shared her leadership, strategy, marketing, operations and careers knowledge as a consultant to both businesses and individuals to help them grow their own businesses and careers.

Having made multiple career shifts herself, Kerry deeply understands the role of skills and agency in career - she has significant first hand experience of applying transferable skills to career.  All of this has led to a passion for helping other people develop the agency and skills they need to drive their careers themselves – and this resulted in co-founding Careersmiths. With the central purpose being to help people write their own career story.
